Zoned DVD

Hi Macers, I live in Ireland and have DVDs from the US, UK and Asia. My DVD player tells me that I only have 4 more attempts to change the zone. Does anyone know how to fix this - so that my Mac will always play a DVD no matter what zone it comes from and does anyone know if this cannot be fixed, what happens when I run out of lives!! Ken
